Submitted by markbell on Tue, 04/09/2013 - 21:52If you love tasty clay pot dishes, check out our newest neighborhood eatery.
In between the tasty Thai ice tea and egg rolls, look up, and you'll get an eye full of some of our repurposed barrel stave chandeliers.

Lighting trends I've noticed. Avoid or embrace?
Submitted by markbell on Tue, 04/02/2013 - 11:23As I cruz around the internet for various reasons, I always seem to drag & drop images that I find relevant to our shop. These are a few examples that have been sitting on my desktop this week of what I consider to be current trends.
(You may either see these examples as something to embrace, or something to avoid, depending on your view & value of trends. ) but here's why I grabbed them:

Lighting Prototypes, one of the things that makes us different
Submitted by markbell on Tue, 11/06/2012 - 10:05Thought this little guy was a good example of a growing part of our services here at Omega Lighting Design. Created as an example of how we could match the existing vintage lighting fixtures in a historic house by combining vintage pieces from our stock and new brass parts.
Once the client gives the thumbs up for size and feel, we address the finish. These pieces are shown in raw brass before any patina has been added.

Submitted by markbell on Mon, 11/05/2012 - 14:50Lisa &Paul de Paschalis are great people to be around, and lots of fun.
Recently Vanessa helped them with their remodel, and was able to bring some of their contagious charm into their remodel.
Photographed here is a great old, found vanity, cut to accommodate their sink & faucet that Vanessa found, as well as a cute little wall sconce from Omega Lighting Design.
Omega Lighting Design ad campaign
Submitted by markbell on Fri, 10/26/2012 - 13:28They say promoting yourself, or your own business, is one of the hardest things to do. Mostly because you are too close to it all. ( Ever see an ad agency do a great ad for itself? -no.)
You need an outside opinion to help you see just how the rest of the world sees your business.
That said, we made our own ads. And we'd like to hear your feedback. Do theses ads speak to you? Do you get what they're trying to say? Do they make you interested in our lights? Will you remember them a week from now?....
